Pictures!

Well, we still aren't having great luck with getting pictures uploaded. Google Photos just gives an uploading screen with no progress, no matter how long I let it sit. I was able to upload about 80 pictures from our elephant day to Flickr though. You can see them here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/89394307@N04/

We'll keep trying!

About Us

Emily was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Burkina Faso from June 2009 until September 2012 - about two weeks before the start of the trip. She began her two-year tenure as a Girls' Education and Empowerment volunteer then chose to extend her service for a third year working in the sector of women's reproductive health. This trip marks her triumphant return to the U.S. ... at least for now.

David was also a Peace Corps Volunteer in Burkina Faso (from June 2008 to August 2010), serving as a middle-school teacher. After he finished his service, he remained in Burkina working as a Development Specialist for the Millennium Challenge Corporation. This trip marks not a return home for him, but at least a visit - then it's back to Burkina to continue his work with the MCC.
